What year is this for you in Spectrum Project? 1
What is your first memory of being really excited? When I was 6 my parents got me this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game that would connect to the tv and the controller was really cool. I thought it was the best gift ever and when I got it I ran around the house screaming because I was so excited.
What three board or card games would you take with you if you were on a deserted island?
Game #1: UNO
Game #2: A deck of cards to play garbage
Game #3: Rummikub

If someone said, "Let's go watch a game!" What kind of game would you hope to go watch? College football. I love watching and playing football.
Have you ever been on a team that played games (e.g., volleyball, swimming, quidditch)? What team was it? I have played on a volleyball and basketball team.
What are some small things that make your day better? I love hearing jokes. Laughing and making other people laugh make my day.
When you were younger, what was something you'd LOVE to play and could do for hours? When it was cold out and we couldn’t go outside, my brother and I would play a game we called Ball Hockey. We would lay on our stomachs on opposite ends of a hallway and hit a ball back and forth trying to get the ball past each other. We would play that for hours almost everyday.
What games did you or do you play on long car trips? My family and I will try and find as many different license plates as we can. When we drive past cars we look at every license plate and when we see one, we yell it in the car but if you don’t see it, it doesn’t count.
Which do you like better? Hide & seek or sardines? I don’t know what sardines is, so I guess hide and seek!

What do you want to be when you “grow up”? When I grow up I want to be a fifth grade teacher.
Tell us a funny story about play? I was in fifth grade, and we were all playing this quick answer game. It was my turn and my teacher asked “What do you say when you win a chess match?” And I yelled “BOOYA” very loud and confidently and before I could think of the answer. The rest of the year BOOYA was the running joke in my class and my fifth grade teacher still reminds me of it whenever I see him.
What’s the best single day on the calendar? Christmas Day. I love Christmas and all the decorations and I love being with my family and playing board games.
Favorite video game of all time? My favorite video game of all time would be a Tony Hawk skateboarding game I would play on the Xbox when I was younger. I loved doing different tricks and skateboarding in the middle of empty cities.
If a genie gave you three wishes, what would they be?
Wish #1: A car
Wish #2: A billion dollars
Wish #3: The ability to time travel.
What are you looking forward to in this year's Spectrum Project? I’m looking forward to working with students, meeting new people, and having fun!
