WEEK 11 - Last WEEKWe just put some finishing touches on our show and now we're ready to take it to UNI.

WEEK 10 - Putting it All Together
This week was the first time doing each scene of the show from the beginning to end. We only had the gym so we had to pretend the gym floor was the stage. Everybody was great!

WEEK 7 - Getting ready for a party
Word around town is there's is a party about to happen at a farm. That's pretty much all we can tell you at this point.

WEEK 5 - Camping!
This week we turned Lincoln Elementary School into CAMP SPECTRUM! and we all went camping. Everyone made a fire, sang camp songs, told stories, and stayed in a HUGE colorful tent. Unfortunately, there was a bear (& sometimes a couple of bears) who came walking through our campsite. Fortunately, everyone was still enough and the bears did not hurt us.
WEEK 4 - Going to the beach!

In the middle of February in Iowa, we all went to the beach! The performers did some hula dancing, built sand castles, enjoyed the waves, drew pictures of beach music, tossed beach balls and much, much more. Our own Spectrum Project rock band, Spectrum Rocks! had their first band practice.

Sorry, I didn't bring a camera, but this is nice to think about in the middle of February.

WEEK 3 - Happy Birthday!
It's hard to believe that we've already completed three weeks of the Spectrum Project. Time is flying by and April will be here before we know it. I love to see all the enthusiasm and excitement in the performers when they arrive to Lincoln each Saturday.
If you didn't hear, Zach (drama director) and Jenny Hampton (movement director), celebrated their birthdays on Saturday at Spectrum. Their birthdays were a few months ago, but that didn't stop everyone from celebrating birthdays.
