What year is this for you in Spectrum Project? 3

What is your first memory of being really excited? I remember being so excited for my little sister to be born. I was in kindergarten and I remember being so upset that I couldn’t go to the hospital, but my mom let me take her cell phone with me to class so I could get the call right when she was born. We were in line to go to recess when I (very loudly) announced to my class that I had a new baby sister, Sophia!!!

What three board or card games would you take with you if you were on a deserted island?

Game #1: A regular deck of cards

Game #2: The mouth guard game

Game #3: Monopoly (to pass the time).

If someone said, "Let's go watch a game!" What kind of game would you hope to go watch? I love going to hockey games.

Have you ever been on a team that played games (e.g., volleyball, swimming, quidditch)? What team was it? I played tennis all of high school and one year of college tennis. I’ve played other sports, as well. Though tennis was always my favorite.

What are some small things that make your day better? I love waking up early and having some “me time” in the morning.. and of course a cup of coffee.

When you were younger, what was something you'd LOVE to play and could do for hours? I loved to create. I would sit in my closet and write short stories, or draw, or nail two boards together thinking I was building something.

What games did you or do you play on long car trips? My friends and I like to make acronyms out of license plates.. it’s hilarious.

Which do you like better? Hide & seek or sardines? SARDINES!!!

What do you want to be when you “grow up”? Ultimately I was to be happy when I grow up. In regards to my profession I want to teach art.

Tell us a funny story about play? One time when I was younger my friend and I were playing outside after a big rain storm. We saw some geese in the field next to my house and decided to chase after them. We only got a few feet into the mud filled field when we realized we were totally STUCK in the mud. My dad had to come and help us get out.

What’s the best single day on the calendar? December 18th (aka my birthday).

Favorite video game of all time? I don’t play video games.. I’m not good at them, unfortunately.

If a genie gave you three wishes, what would they be?

Wish #1: Happiness for life.

Wish #2: Good health for my family.

Wish #3: To never have to worry about finances.

What are you looking forward to in this year's Spectrum Project? The art week show, definitely.
